If It Works, Why Not?

So this past weekend has been kind of like a wash between being good and bad... We went over budget on groceries but we still got really good deals on what we bought. But I honestly just don't care at this point. I think we are needing to redo our grocery budget anyways as the kids are getting bigger and eating more and I am pregnant so I am hungry about 24/7 right now so we are going to be spending more. The grocery budget needs to grow a little since our family is growing.... I babysat Saturday night and I am sure glad I did! The kids were well behaved and it gave me an excuse to make a semi-big breakfast (I could probably live off breakfast foods!- any day anytime, day or night!). After the kids were all picked up Sunday morning though, I decided to get started on some laundry as the kids' hampers were full ("Yay, Laundry!" - sarcasm). Things have been busy as usual. I don’t know if I have caught the Spring Cleaning Bug or if its “nesting” from the pregnancy but I just want to get so much done and its frustrating…. I think I am nesting… I have so much I wanted to do and have done and I am getting so frustrated because either I cannot physically do it right now because I am pregnant, or I don’t have the money to do it right now…. And the worse part about it is that I know myself, and if I am on a roll and in the mood to get things done, they get done! Otherwise, if I am not in the mood it will sit, and here lately I have been ready to go and I just can’t do anything. The other day I was determined to scrub the bathrooms. I just bought some more Ajax (3 for $1 at Walgreens the other week) and had my scrub brush and sponge ready to go and my husband stops me and says that I shouldn’t do it because I should not be around the fumes being pregnant. Okay- It seems every time I log in to post something I am doing catch up... So here is where we are now. I luckily received my bonus this year which couldn't of come at a better time. We recently have been hit with a swarm of bills, doctor visit deductibles, ER deductibles that were from about a year ago and just now being billed to us, ultrasound deductibles, X-ray deductibles, my daughter's dental work, my dental work and I was even audited on my 2006 State Taxes and owe some for that too after I made a mathematical/human error and I am sure there were a few other items too that can be added to the list of non-routine bills.... So I am glad I was able to get a bonus, especially since so many people are even looking for work, I feel fortunate. We had a garage sale last weekend and were able to get rid of some things that we don't use or need anymore and make some money too.
